Positive Behaviour for Learning
At our school, we use Positive Behaviour for Learning – a whole-school approach for creating a positive, safe and supportive school climate where students can learn and develop. Our whole school community works together to establish expected behaviours and teach them to all students.
At Kandos High School we encourage and reward Positive Behaviours for Learning. For more information, please refer to the following document KHS Rewards System for PBL (PDF 992KB).
To ensure all students are able to learn in an environment that is conducive to learning, our school has developed PBL values placed around the school. These include Classroom (JPEG 2.51MB) and Outdoor (JPEG 2.55MB) behavioural expectations.
Rewards Excursion
The Rewards Excursion is a whole school initiative designed to reward students of Kandos High for positive behaviours and academic achievement throughout the school year. The excursion generally takes place in the last two weeks of term four. To be invited to attend the excursion students must meet the Rewards Excursion Guidelines and Criteria (PDF 120KB).
