What Does High School Cost?
At Kandos High School, the State Government provides funding to cover the majority of educational expenses. However, to enhance the quality of resources and materials available to students, additional costs are incurred for items such as paper, supplies, and specialist materials.
We kindly ask for your support in contributing to your child’s education by paying the Voluntary General Contributions, which help ensure we can continue to provide a high-quality learning environment for all students.
For students selecting certain elective subjects in Years 9 and 10, please note that these courses may involve additional costs due to specialized materials and resources required for practical components. A subject fee will apply to these electives.
For a detailed breakdown of contributions and fees, please refer to the 2023 School Contributions – All Students (PDF 89KB).
