At Kandos High School, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful and supportive environment where every student is known, valued and cared for. By setting clear expectations and working together, we aim to create a thriving school community where every student has the opportunity to achieve excellence, embrace new opportunities and experience success every day.

We recognise and reward positive behaviour through a structured PBL rewards system. For full details, please refer to the KHS Rewards System for PBL (PDF).

To support consistent expectations, our PBL values and behaviour guidelines are displayed throughout the school, outlining both Classroom and Outdoor expectations that help students stay focused, safe and respectful in all learning spaces.

Rewards Excursion

The Rewards Excursion is a highly valued whole-school initiative that celebrates students who consistently demonstrate positive behaviour, strong attendance and academic effort throughout the year. Held in the final weeks of Term 4, this event recognises students who uphold our school values and contribute positively to our school community.

Eligibility is based on the Rewards Excursion Guidelines and Criteria (PDF), which outline expectations for behaviour, attendance, uniform and academic engagement.
