Creating Links to Industry Program (CLIP)

Kandos High School is proud to announce that the Creating Links to Industry Program (CLIP) will enter its seventh year in 2025. CLIP is designed for Year 9 and Year 10 students who are ready to build essential employability skills and explore future career pathways. The program has an outstanding success rate, with 94% of students who complete the full program moving into full-time employment or continuing their studies for the HSC.

Who is CLIP for?

CLIP is ideal for students intending to seek employment after Year 10 or Year 11, while still maintaining the option to complete the HSC. The program focuses on developing strong work-related literacy and numeracy skills, and includes a range of workplace excursions to deepen students’ understanding of industry expectations.

Program Expectations

Students in the CLIP program are expected to uphold school rules, participate in all excursions and activities, work cooperatively, and set personal and learning goals each year. These expectations help ensure students gain the most from the program and are well prepared for their future pathways.

How to Apply for 2026

CLIP applications are now closed for the 2026 intake.
Thank you to all students and families who submitted applications. Successful applicants will be contacted by the school with next steps.
