Additional learning support

At Kandos High School, we make sure every student is supported and ready to learn. We provide adjustments and assistance for students with disability or additional learning needs so they can participate fully in all aspects of school life. A formal diagnosis is not required for your child to receive support, we begin helping students as soon as a need is identified, at any stage of their schooling.

Some students require additional support to feel confident, stay engaged and achieve their best at school. At Kandos High School, we work closely with families to create personalised support plans and adjustments that meet each student’s individual needs.

NSW public schools are equipped to support students with disability and additional learning needs, and our staff are always here to help. We work closely with families to ensure every student feels included, supported and able to succeed.
