Our school offers a range of spaces, tools and resources to support student learning. Whether it’s for study, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments and resources give students what they need to succeed.

Our school facilities

We offer a range of engaging learning environments that help students stay motivated, build confidence, and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities include:

• A gymnasium, a Multi-Purpose Centre for sports, assemblies, and performing arts
• State-of-the-art hospitality kitchens, complete with a purpose-built café for our student-run Friday Café program and Pop-Up Restaurants

• Modern computer labs for digital learning
• An agricultural plot where students learn to grow produce and care for livestock
• The KHS Show Team, where students develop practical agricultural and leadership skills through real-world show competitions.

Resources and technology

Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.

Our classrooms are bright, modern, and designed to inspire learning. Each space is equipped with interactive technology and vibrant displays, creating an engaging environment where students feel comfortable, focused, and ready to succeed.

Kandos High School is a technology-rich learning environment where students have access to the latest digital tools. We have two fully equipped computer labs and a library with desktops and laptops available for study and class use. Every faculty, and multiple classrooms, have their own laptop pod, ensuring all students have access to a device during lessons. Our classrooms feature interactive Smartboards, and with Wi-Fi across the entire campus, students can also connect through our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program, supporting flexible, modern, and connected learning.

Our brand-new science lab is equipped with modern facilities and cutting-edge tools that make learning exciting and hands-on. Students explore, experiment, and discover through practical investigations that bring science to life.

Kandos High School offers outstanding sporting facilities, including three sports fields, a modern gymnasium, and basketball courts right on campus. We’re also proud to utilise the Kandos Olympic Swimming Pool, just a five-minute walk from school, for swimming and water safety programs. With access to our school bus, students regularly travel to local venues and competitions, ensuring a wide range of sporting opportunities that promote teamwork, fitness, and fun.
